White Lea Cottage is a three bedroom, traditional stone built house under a Staffordshire blue tile roof . Built in 1746 by Thomas Bassett the younger this building was originally constructed as a hay store, cart shed and shippon. It has been tastefully converted into a delightful large house containing many features including beamed ceilings, exposed stone walls and large fire with log burner. It has three double bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom. The largest bedroom can be equipped with two single beds or a super king size double. The dining kitchen can seat up to eight people. It is fully central heated with all modern amenities including dish washer. Prices are £750 per week or £125 per person depending on party size and requirements. Cots and high chairs can be provided.
Horse grazing / stabling is offered at no extra charge for holidays with your horse. An all weather exercise area and 3.5m farm ride can also be used.
Dogs are welcome but must be on a lead at all times outside the garden area. However they must not be allowed upstairs and cannot be left unattended. There is a large outbuilding available where dogs can be safely left unattended if required.
